I’ve been trying knock the problem with Vista and the WG111v2 for months. Finally got it sorted this morning by updating the wireless adapter driver in Device Manager with the “Realtek RTL8187 Wireless 802.11g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter” driver. I also uninstalled the Netgear wireless network management software and now let Vista handle the connection. Works a treat!! Note, I’m connecting to a Dlink wireless router. Good luck.
